NIMPH

While designing this dress, I imagined a forest. Forest nymphs twirling in their delicate outfits adorned with countless flowers, petals, and twisted branches. They smell of freshly cut grass and lilies of the valley. I imagined the nymphs humming songs, and it felt so warm in my heart. With this dress, I wanted to move away from the standard lace design. I aimed to emphasize the elegance of the neck, the fragility of the shoulders with airy floral elements. The beauty of the figure is highlighted by an elongated corset and open lacing, which further accentuates the waist. The roughly cut edges are also intentional. Just like in nature, all leaves have different shapes and sizes. Imagining a woman in this dress, I want her to feel at one with nature, woven from the intertwining of the material and the spiritual, and utterly unique. 

Material: Spanish cotton lace, corset mesh, and natural silk for the lining.
